The Win98 Plus pack that should have come with Win98. Has a CD player Called "The Deluxe CD player(what a name)" this is the coolest thing I have found in Win98 I don't play CDs on my computer but over the last few day I just can't help myself. Its all due to the little internet options on this CD player.

You place a CD in and you get the option of connecting to the internet to download the CD data(name of the CD track titles and so on) This is then stored on your computer and will popup this data when ever you put that CD in now... How cool is that, its like magic each time I put a new CD in. And heres the kicker you can look up more info about that CD on the net and the people that made the CD. You can even look up CDs that have the same theme... I'm playing a Movie sound track right now(on my SB16) and the web part hooks up to tunes.com for a top pick of sound tracks at the top and at the bottom is a section I can pick themes(Film Scores,Musicals, etc)for more soundtracks i'd like to see.

I couldn't help but think CREAF should put this player and WinAMP together for one HELL of a CD player. The plugins if you guys don't know for WinAMP ROCK!!! Think LASER light show in 3D and tuned with the music in real time(For the good ones). Maybe even some java thing for the desktop like that if your running in active desktop mode.
Any how it had to do with audio and thought you all may like to hear about the new player.
