<<THE DISCONNECTS, POOR NETWORK CONNECTIONS, AND NUMEROUS OTHER COMPLAINTS ARE WORSE THAN EVER. THE LOSS OF CUSTOMERS HAS NOT IMPROVED AT&T WORLDNET PERFORMANCE AS I HAVE RECENTLY EXPERIENCED IT IN HUNTINGTON, NEW YORK. I imagine it is just as poor elsewhere.>>

I am a charter subscriber of Worldnet, and have had excellent service including; quick access of usually 20 to 30 seconds; rarely a disconnect - maybe 1 or 2 in six months which may be attributable to
MS Explorer; immediate and excellent service support where you can actually talk to a human if necessary; and a fee which is average for an ISP with great service.

As for the increase in LD rates, it was not a rate increase but a pass through of the local provider access fee. I wouldn't be surprised to see other LD companies charge the same rate once they evaluate the impact on P & L..

BTW, Mr Bow Tie has been wrong so often that it is encouraging to have him denounce the T deal. He has been forecasting an interest rate increase and a bear market for about the past three years. One day he will finally be right!!!
