With two weeks left to go until July options expiration, I have updated and posted the July'98 DELL options analysis.

Even with the current price at 92 7/8, and emotion and optimism rampant, the Max-Pain point has not shifted from $85, at this time.
However, the Max-Pain value at $90 is only ~$5M higher than at $85, so a shift to $90 is not out of the question, but it would take some large open interest re-positioning to do it.

It just may turn out that 'earnings report months' are too volatile for the Max-Pain indicator to be effective.
