Agreed, phase 1 deployment will be WSTL CAP based product. The question is how much will be sold in phase 1 before DMT kicks in. WSTL does not have a lock on DMT at BEL. This exposes us to risk.

I believe initial take rates will be low based on a combination of central offices that will get ADSL in phase 1 and pricing. Residential users will not cough up ~$69 or more for a high speed line. Don't forget NYC is not part of the initial rollout in '98. We lose tremendous numbers right there. Whoever wins the contract in August will be a good company to watch. Maybe WSTL will be one of the winners. Lets hope.
