Todd. I also am puzzled as to the EDO stuff, especially since it is widely believed that Toray will buy out EDO's share of EDO-Canada. My guess is that Zoltek has some deal with GM to sample their material and GM is forcing EDO-Canada to use their 50K. Toray is actively marketing 24K and 48K from their new lines under construction. Maybe the ZOLT fiber is a stopgap? IMO a perfect hype opportunity. SGL has been a total internal consumer of carbon fiber. RK has been on the block for quite a long time and this may be a perfect match for them. The article stated that the deal will close in mid-December and did not mention a purchase price. The article did go on to say that SGL is "widely expected to furnish capital to accelerate RK's already significant expansion and new-product plans." Like I posted previously, this market segment is going to get crowded in a hurry. Others are coming. Flyguy.
