Thread,

We will see better days, IMHO, because of several reasons that are macroeconomic, that have nothing to do with our little AIPN and everything to do with it. The price of oil is going up. Asia is going to get back on line in 1999. The big oil guys are going to consolidate reserves as the price of oil goes up. AIPN has survived during this very dark year for oil and has actually progressed despite the share price. If we had a competent CFO we would be at $6.00/share and not have the Hunt overhang. China is killing itself with coal at the rate of 1 out of 3 deaths are respiratory in nature and their children are suffering asthma at rates that are out of control. IMHO, China needs Kaz oil and yes GAS. Clinton needs China and they will get support to economically change their medieval economic structures and that starts with their dependence on Coal. The pipelines will roll in Kaz when the price of oil gets to $17-18. Russia is not going under and their economic recovery will greatly benefit AIPN. Iran is moderating and the swaps and other pipeline options through their country will change the entire Caspian scene. I believe that AIPN has demonstrated, at the expense of share value that it will do what it has to in order to deliver on the Kazakstan potential. IMHO, the liquidity that will flow to this part of the world will make anyone with patience very rich on his or her investment in AIPN.

The short-term prospects are less clear but I believe that a financing deal utilizing a fixed High Yield Bond with some fixed equity dilution will take the share price much higher. The firing of the CFO and hiring of a Wallstreet savvy CFO with an opinion that counts and is not a GF sycophant would also take the stock higher immediately. Call Dodge and tell him that we need a CFO who counts on Wall Street and is rewarded by shareholder value and buys AIPN at these prices in the open market as a sign of his commitment and faith in our company. Call him 200-300 times per day until GF gets the message.

"We want a new CFO".

Have a nice 4th of July see you Tuesday.
