The reason I bring this up is that some momentum investors and shorters will buy or short a stock without even knowing what the company makes. To them it is irrelevant. Market dynamics discounts all information, so what difference does it make whether these people know where they are putting their money. Personally, I find it hard to believe that there are major short sellers that have locked on to the wrong ticker symbol, but weirder things have happened of late, such as this stock taking such a nose dive.

The competition in this market which is clearly a future oriented market ala 3d games today and the virtual world tomorrow is legion and larger than 3dfx. If this company pulls it off, there is no limit to its price. Yet that is a difficult feat to imagine, given the likes of Nec and Intel for starters.
