Well, since it's the "crooks" who set up the game for us to play, as traders we might as well maintain a cynical stance when trading. As for Canaccord, making money every day is their business as a securities firm. If they're stuck with paper from the $3.35 PP from last year, they have to hedge it in case it craters again. They need to make money off each and every deal rather than worry about where a particular one is going, so they do what is required to keep the bottom line. They know the odds are totally stacked against each venture situation and they have to sell paper into liquidity. This is the reality of the brokerage business all over the world, and even though it is annoying, we have to acknowledge the facts and trade on.
