A lot of people would say that confirmation from a store employee is not a very sophisticated reason to buy a stock but I have made it a habit to talk to as many employees as I can about the stock (they all own shares) every time I shop there. Without exception, they love the company and they are enthusiastic about the stock (who wouldn't be?).

On top of that, they are all knowledgeable and helpful. I also know this is not the best analysis either but if you add to the fact that every Home Depo you pass always has their parking lot full every time, it starts to add up ... ala Peter Lynch's theory.... buy what you can see is doing well from your own experience.

The price was pretty high before I got smart enough to buy the stock so I bought options and am now about to triple my money on it in just a few weeks.

Just another cheer for HD from a happy shareholder (kind of), no sophisticated insight intended.
