Gerry - I'm glad you felt good about SEEC after the call. Welcome back! Nanda is back too. Original reasons for which we bought can not change in a single qtr. You know I bought more before listening to the call.

Wish someone posts on the Annual meeting. Ask the CEO about earnings growth, lack of urgency, buyback, takeover prospects, etc. As DD would say, "thrash" them.

Glad to see Tim Luke lurking here. His SEEC trading instincts will be of interest.

I agree with you on the share buyback, especially the "low liquidity" factor. I do see management's concern - wide earnings fluctuation beyond their control. May be they want to get shares out of institution's hand. CRYSF was the first(?) to announce the share buyback with good intention - show confidence in their stock - and put their cash where their mouth is, not all of it but some. Buyback tends to support the stock. The cash generated in the next 2-3 qtrs has to go somewhere as Mark pointed out! At these depressed prices of CMND, SEEC, and others, with small floats, anyone can buy them out and run with the cash. May be I'm naive. Percent institutional holding was too high for SEEC's small float. Too much control by institutions can go bothways - up or down - fast. Ram
