The G810 "only" supports 1600x1200 resolution. I am running the P815 at 1280 x 1024. I boost it to 1600 x 1200 when I play with graphics. I have the P815 next to an NEC 3FGx 14 in and the colors do not seem better.

There are no brightness thumbwheels on the P815 as there are on the Viewsonic PT770 (and many others). I like the ability to quickly adjust brightness with the thumbwheel. The P815 seems a bit to advanced for me. If I had it to do again I would save $ and go for the G810. ( I do not know if the G810 has thumbwheels)

If I were doing multimonitors my first choice would be to use identical monitors. No good reason, just a hunch.
