What % are they paying on the 'junk', and how much did they raise?

Amazon could raise a half billion dollars by just doing a seondary for 4 million shares. That's less than 10% dilution. If they do a private placement and restrict the shares, then the float will remain unchanged.

Looks like management is missing a golden opportunity by not doing a secondary right now.

Or is it possible that an underwriter would just laugh at the idea of selling AMZN to their clients at $125 a pop?
