PM,
<<Last week, I was wandering around SI and I decided to check what kind of messages Val was posting. I discovered that he was very active in this DGIV thread. I did some checking and found a company whose main business seems to be issuing more stock, and writing vague press releases. I found something that sure looks like an Internet stock scam as explained in that NASAA link I posted. I found endless hype for an obscure company that doesn't even bother to file financial reports. At that point, I decided to jump in and do a little consumer education. >>

Let me see if I got this right... you bought a ticket to tour SI the other day, you were wandering around lost in the wilds and found a house made of gum drops and candy. Your big brother was already on the site stuffing his face with the black licorice from the pile out behind the little adjoining house. You weren't sure the stuff was good to eat, so you had it analyzed with the little kit you got from the cracker jack box. The results looked like something you had read in the junior detective manual. This warned that the licorice could produce halucinations if eaten from the pile out behind the little adjoining house... (which was why it out there to begin with if you haven't figured that out yet). You tried the licorice to see if the junior detective manual was correct and the halucinations began... you saw conspiracy and threats and general mayhem. You began to believe that the little gum drop house was part of all this without doing any real checking, which would have aptly demonstrated that it was a house made of the rarest of gum drops and provided shelter for a lot of very smart people who knew enough to stay away from the pile out behind the little adjoining house. So once the halucinations began to subside you took it upon yourself to play chicken little and tell everybody the sky is falling, the sky is falling.... when in fact the only thing falling were the crumbs from the black licorice you ate....

Is that about it? Do I have it right? You're a telecom engineer, with no discernible training in corporate financial analysis, you evidently should know something about the telecom industry (after all, you are an engineer in it), you have a boss who's a shorter and is training you to be one too, and you're going to save all us ignorant people.

Gosh, what can I say. It is so comforting to have you looking out for my best interests. I don't know what I would have done without your great sacrifice of staying up all night writing such illuminating posts so your employer can reap the benefits of your alertness during the day. I really don't know what to say, except this....PM, where's the software you're supposed to be working on? Get a life.

Best of luck in your new found profession,
Chuck
