On the preferred / convertible. It is always better to line up the financing when you don't need it because once you do need it it is both more expensive and more difficult to obtain.

I also am confused as to why now versus after earnings. However with the normal back end loading of sales a conservative management (Loam seems to be) would not risk waiting. So I buy management's comment here.

They may still make #'s. I like the AT&T and TCI deal. If should help the fiber optics division (but not for a few quarters).
