I most definitely do not think that "customer delay" is the whole story. I have had a high opinion of SEEC for a long time but didn't buy until some time after the meteoric rise and fall from 37. But now I have a sinking feeling that something is rotten in Denmark. Like if the tool was so good, why aren't customers lining up? (Except for the fact that there's so much competition in the COBOL market.) I confess I don't know much about work that has been completed by SEEC. Wouldn't potential customers want to check on the record of the product? What do we know about their error rates? Maybe customers want a better deal than SEEC is offerring because of the error rates. I don't know. I just think we might be seeing some SEEC chickens coming home to roost here.
