Agree, it's not the whole story. Other factors that could have contributed are - ISLI-MIFGY merger, increased concern for liability, may be poor (I don't know for sure) sales team, poor management, etc.
If SEEC stock price is depressed due to high error rates, how about ALYD (that claims negligible errors)? I do not see that ALYD's quality reflects in ALYD price, even with all those contracts. Why is it? CBSL is using SEEC's tools. Is CBSL paying for the liability of using SEEC tools and the error rates? If so, CBSL should have stopped using SEEC tools or their stock should be in the dumps. Aren't there other partners for SEEC, not just CBSL? May be SEEC "convinced" all of their alliances to license their tools. Poor salesmanship? If managmeent wants to buy back shares, why buy now at 6 when the stock could be heading even lower? Ram
