Notice earlier in this thread where in the interview with CPQ, the exec said he was not allowed to talk but they would do what they said they would do (ie hit at least zero). This will be a good test for CPQ. They have been around a long time, they know the earnings game well and they have a lot of numbers to play with. The investors are demanding some kind of cheerleader performance. They better deliver. I wish they would spin AltaVista off. I have been listening to AltaVista commercials. They are Horrible. Made by some stuffed shirt with no clue. Question: Which domain name is easier for you to remember and spell: infoseek yhoo AltaVista Not only is it a bad domain name to have, but the commercials ask you to remember and type in: www.altavista.digital.com or maybe it was: www.digital.altavista.com I can't remember - PLEEEZZZEEE!!! - SOMEBODY FIRE THE GUYS IN CHARGE OF THIS STUFF! SOMEBODY HIRE A AD AGENCY THAT KNOWS WHAT TO DO!!! I am afraid we are starting to get knee deep in what kills many big corporations - layers of incompetent managers so thick that even the super obvious does not get attention.
