FWIW: Just found this. its weeks old and I dont have the entire article On June 12, 1998 CIBC Oppenheimer Corp. analyst James Poyner issued a 4 page Company Report on Compaq Computer Corporation. Report highlights: "The 1998 EPS estimate was lowered from $0.72 to $0.50 based on the acquisition of DEC, which diluted earnings in the third quarter, and uncertainty surrounding the fourth quarter's accretive impact. The company should benefit from the corporate market narrowing its vendor list to those that offer the widest variety of solutions. The six-month target price was set at $35."
