Dipy: <<keep on jabbering about India making a civilian airliner that can best the Boeing 767, when in fact they are yet to demonstrate the ability to design and manufacture a luggage cart that works! >> Hey, Nobody in India is going to best Boeing in the near future. But the Indians are not total idiots. Remember they conducted nuclear tests (It is not exactly Deepavali or 4th of July crackers), put a working Made-in-India communications satellite in space and did so many other things that any nation could be proud of. The limitation of available resources makes it that much more difficult to design, and innovate ... It is not the talent that is lacking, but as you said in so many words, the corruption-ridden political & bureaucratic ineptitude is holding the country back. Your views have validity, but are not balanced in that you augment and embellish the negatives and trash the positives. Prove me wrong, my fellow poster. JPR JPR
