Seconds Out, thanks for the compliment but I don't even hold a candle to the good posters, both here, and there (Yahoo). It is a much calmer atmosphere here because most shorts will not pay to post. They do have to be dealt with though, I read someplace, can't remember exactly where, that these message boards do not affect Wall Street. That may be true, but these message boards definitely do have an affect on General Magic, IMO. Anyone who thinks otherwise, IMO, is naive. It is a snake pit over there (Yahoo) no doubt about it, but if the shorts are not dealt with, believe me a lot of newer investors get very nervous, and some openly admit that they have sold because of it. And that affects everybody's investment, including investors from the SI board. No matter how great the news can be on GMGC , doubts in newer investor's minds instilled by the shorts, with some very ridiculous claims at times is what causes the turmoil. I don't think too many people enjoy having their intelligence insulted, some are combative, others are passive. Yahoo is the combat zone. |
