Speaking of info on the net, here's an earlier post with some Biotech
sites:
There is a ton of Biotech info on the net, but you generally
have to dig it out. You can use a molecular biology subset of
medline at:

www2.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

PRNewswire has expanded it Biotech and Pharmaceutial coverage to
include non-subscribing companies (you can get a few days worth
of press releases instead of a year's worth from subscribing
companies). Their site is:

prnewswire.com

If your lookiing for tables of contents and abstract from
Biotech journals, check out:

princeton.edu

The Princton site has most of the major journals including Cell,
JBC, Science, Nature, and PNAS. Generally you can see the table
of contents and abstracts as well as E-Mail editors, get
addresses and other journal info, and do a variety of things
electronically.

A broader index can be found at:

golgi.harvard.edu

Biotechlogy info can also be found at:

cato.com

If you like San Diego Biotechs (S.D. is a worldwide leader and
of course is home to LGND)

there's a map of 44 of them at:

sddt.com
tech_frames.html

You can click on each to get a corporate profile.
