Slider, I enjoyed your analysis immensely. I think you are right on the money with everything that you said (although I take great exception with Cramer's comparison of Japanese banks to Texas S&Ls and other US financial institutions). As you pointed out, the earnings of the oil patch companies are demand driven. When Asian economies recover the oil patch will rebound with a vengeance. OPEC and its actions are irrelevant in every way save psychological.

I look forward to sharing a cyberbeer with you and other long term holders two years from now when we celebrate our three and four baggers and the newbies ask us how we did it. You've clearly laid out the game plan.
