Well, I'm out.

I'll look to get back in a couple weeks after the release of the second quarter results. Results will be disappointing and I think this will drag the price back down to test new lows.

The hedge funds still rule in setting zinc price. LME levels may start to stagnate at current levels. Summer doldrums. It's tough to gauge direction these days.

Pasminco's Century mine will be on line towards the end of next year and this will disrupt the concentrate market as they buy their way in.
This mine is bigger than Red Dog. Will the mines coming off line be sufficient to allow smooth absorption of these concentrates. $64 question.

There may be some truth to Caribou staying down after August. It makes no commercial sense to reopen it even at improved zinc recovery.
