TMK. OFF TOPIC. I live in East Orlando, not too far from some of the fires. When the wind comes from the east, the smoke blows into the city, and its quite noticeable, visually, and with eyes, lungs, sinus, etc.
I went to the movies last night, and drove home with the windows open, cause I didn't get my airconditioning fixed. I was caughing later that night. The smoke smell even permeated some of the theaters.
WAs good if it coincided with the movie. More realism. Hopefully when you are ready to come down, the rains will have come. If the fires are still burning, you may find the smoke particulates in the air very uncomfortable, not to mention the unbelievable heat here. Its dry as dust here. We usually can depend on evening showers and breezes to break things up. Keep watch, and decide.
