Raymond,

I do not see any contradiction here in Isaiah as to who Jesus is. Lets look at it again.

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6

...his name... gives glory to the Father, ...his name... describes His character, ...his name... is Jesus (Hebrew "Yeshua") "God is our Salvation".

The final authority of course falls on Jesus himself. Jesus claimed to be God in the flesh. How do you respond to Him and His claim?

Tom
