When does Amazon announce earnings? My guess is that they'll beat estimates, and AMZN will pop (to 150?), and then will be time to consider shorting it. Something to consider is that the book sellers have their best quarter ending Dec., due to Xmas sales. So, the big/final pop up in AMZN may not happen until Jan/Feb when those earnings come out. If that scenario plays out it is a long, cold winter for the short sellers.
