Now imagine if they had world setup file that you could reboot
the world with and there was a line in there: God? y/n [ ] where you got to choose the system monitor.

I think there might not be a god. At least not one who can do anything about anything with a will and all. What sort of thing would it be? Supposedly error free, the god system would be able to predict, assuming it had a thought system or process, to do what would effect all future events in a completely predictable way. If in fact there are things that are not predictable or remain to chance then god could
not foresee the exact events, whereas If he had a good computer he could predict their probability. If you accept that he created free will then it would be hard for him to foretell specific events otherwise the will would not really be free but only seemingly so. In essence if he is a consciousness, then he is a prisoner of time and waiting for things to unfold just as we are. Since he would presumably know exactly the system of general events the only thing that would fascinate him would be that which is unpreditable or specifically singular. So if a baby was named Leopold and it was spelled with an A
instead of an O that would tickle him immensely. The fact that the universe will burn out and reboot is a boring fact and without interest.

If in fact there is no infinity of matter or universes then it is likely that god is finite too. Otherwise he could create infinite universes. If he could, he would and there would be infinite numbers of variations of yourself in parallel worlds. And some pretty creepy messes out there too. All perfectly self perpetuating of course. Natural decay presupposes natural recreation as well. All non decaying systems would have no life as I suppose the fact of life is that it cannot be perpetual as it is energy limited.

Must be a parallel processor.
