1. Is it ill-advised to load the entire history onto the hard-drive? What do you all recommend for the CD Buffer?
No, it isn't ill-advised. It's more convenient to have everything on your hard drive, and the scans will be faster. The Diskbuff should take up about 100 megabytes of space. Your scans will be even faster if you put the diskbuff and the QP program on separate hard drives.
2. Since I have no other software than QP2, is there any reason to use the Virtual Program?
I can't see any reason to use it.
3. Can someone write a short narrative describing your QP2 configuration and normal daily protocol?
My normal daily routine begins when the orderlies arrive in my "cell" (a term for "room" favored by religious contemplatives such as myself) at 5:30 a.m. and secure me so that I can receive my medication. Once I am fully medicated, I'm fed and clothed. I'm then bused to my job as an air-traffic controller, as part of a work-release program. Usually, Quotes Plus scans are given top priority at my air-traffic control terminal, except during unusually stagnant periods in the market. Protocol, incidentally, requires that Quotes Plus enter a room before I do. I don't know why that is. I take little interest in social customs, and that, perhaps, may explain why I've been forced to live a life of confinement (except during work hours). |
