Not unusual.

Complaints must be filed in court before they are served on the parties.

In SEC cases the parties usually have pretty good idea of what the complaint will be about as much positioning and negotiation and discovery usually precedes the actual filing of the complaint.

Complaint simply sets forth in appropriate legal form and language the position of the plaintiff.

Re 'personal vendetta' - I kind of doubt it, as the substance of the complaint seems to be that the parties involved didn't tell the truth about what they knew about various information distributed to the public, or about their relationships to each other. NOT whether the system works or not - although I don't believe that any version has ever worked for an extended period of time in a production environment at publicised levels of production and output efficiency.

And, yes, at one time it was touted as a 'mobile' system - mounted on two 40' trailers.

The 1995 article was fascinating to me because it read like a replay of GRNO's relations of the last 12 months with DEHC - and BC's 'I'm leaving' story. Seems like he didn't learn - just relived the problems in 1997/8.

And, poor fellow, he just keeps hiring and depending on these people who keep causing him to make the wrong decisions and take incorrect actions. Hmmmhh - isn't people selection and decision-making the principal function of management - not to mention leadership - not followership and excuse-making?

GRNO continues to be a fascinating story though...one which I look forward to seeing the resolution of in a couple of years, if there's no settlement with the SEC quickly.
