Re: CEO vs. mutual fund manager

Andy Grove is the CEO of Intel and the manager of a mutual fund.

Andy Grove is President & CEO of Intel, not some Mutual Fund. His success lies in guiding Intel to technological and market successes. He should be judged by Intel's success - not his personal choices in when to sell his own Intel stock.

Here's a partial list of the investments he has chosen for his fund:

VLSI Technologies
Phoenix Technologies
SystemSoft
BroadBand Technologies
some company he bought a minority position 2 weeks ago

There are many others, but I can't list them all off the top of my head. Collectively, they probably represent the most successful mutual fund of the last 5 years. I'm interested in a more complete list, as well as the long term record of his picks. He probably puts Berkshire-Hathaway to shame. Perhaps I should join the growing list of investors on this thread who are shadowing his trades!
