Gary, I really don't think "beating estimates" or seasonal sales during Christmas will affect this stock, or any internet stock. Clearly mo-mo players don't care about such trivial matters such as earnings. Look at Yahoo: They announced their earnings would be disappearing for another goodly while, and people just began buying up Yahoo like there was no tomorrow. This is purely a sentiment and mo-mo thing. When the tech sector cools down, which it most surely will between now and well prior to the end of the year, these stocks will be going down. It's that simple. Amazon investors can only get one second mortgage, and then they'll be looking to sell when that money has been invested.
