The web is moving at great speed towards critical mass of 1 Billion users.

AO-Hell has what, 30 million users? The USA has what, 250 million people, all total? The USA has what, one of the highest PC penetration rates in the world, at about 45%? China has what, a couple billion or so people? The world has what, 5 billion people, including men, women and children? What do you suppose the PC penetration rate is in highly populous countries such as China and India, where per capita earnings are significantly lower than the US and Europe, etc?

We're nowhere *near* 1 Billion users, and it will be an awful long time before such a number is reached. And in fact, the number of internet users is actually not growing much at all lately. And in fact, earlier this year I read a story where it said that Internet users in the USA outside of corporate sites (which are difficult to quantify) are actually close to stagnating. "moving at great speed towards critical mass of 1 Billion users"? Any data to support this ludicrous claim?
