Another possibility for the decline in stock price is the fact that the capitalization was based upon a convertible preferred. This can be a signal to the market that the investor may have an interest in seeing a lower stock price to maximize his return upon conversion. This can trigger a greater interest from short sellers. I am not about to say this is what is happening as I just discovered this thread, but it does follow true to course. This nice part of it all is that the economics of the company will eventually determine the price of the stock. If the company makes it, the stock will rise, if it does not the stock will fall. In between there will be variations in the price. Such is the market.
