Darren and others:
Have decided to take the plunge into daytrading. Been doing trading on Datek for a couple of years. Have enough capital to get me started, and am ready to paper trade for several months. The question I have is, should I go ahead and get a level II trading program thru MB trader, pay their 300 a month, and just paper trade?, or should I just plunge in with real trades? I have Prof edition on WOW, have had it for several years and feel fairly comfortable with it. Does anyone else use this program for charting, etc.? When I subscribe to MB should I take the optional news feed?
I have the luxury of a full time job that allows the time for daytrading(firefighter/paramedic, on one day off two), also, I went back to school and became a CPA several years ago, have some decent financial background.
Appreciate everyone's comments on initial requirements that I should look at, and the steps I should take to begin.
Thanks,
