I read your response and you say, "It makes no sense whatsoever"! Guess what, it makes perfect sense to me.
Explain to me how your argument makes any sense. "
Do you agree with this or disagree?
1. God informed his people on how to discern a true prophet from a false prophet (Agree or Disagree)?
2. God told them a False Prophet must Die (Agree or Disagree?)
3. A Spiritual Death is something the people could not witness until they died (Agree or Disagree)
4. This makes God's words irrelevant since if they cannot know whether a prophet has undergone a spiritual death, they cannot reject him (Agree or disagree)
What I find humorous is you tell me "I disagree," but you don't tell me why. You don't tell me how you could possibly be interpreting this verse to mean anything different than what is clear. Your position is illogical. It cannot be true! But regardless of that, you stick by it.
Why is that? I know why it is. To change your mind leaves you in an even more difficult position than you are in now: and that is why Muhammad (Pbuh) was not killed. So instead of admitting the clarity of this verse, you will stick by your statement despite the clear trouble you are in and never change your mind.
But, anyone who can read the verses with an objective mind understands rather quickly that it is not possible God was referring to a spiritual death. The people needed a way to discern a true prophet from a false prophet and it is no benefit to them if they cannot see the criteria God gives them.
I didn't even get started on what I know about Muhammed. Need to consult God on that one! It won't be pretty though!
Please. I am well aware that you did not consult Muslim sources for that info. You consulted anti-Islamic webpages, etc. to get it. I read a book from the Library titled "The Rise of Islam" which said that Muslims worship stones and rocks. How plainly ignorant to anyone who really studied the religion.
You can post lies that you read in some book but you will never really be investigating if you to the source and read: the Qur'an.
but you continue to slander my God and you are really tempting me!
What are you talking about? Is this Emile? I never slander God. Never. I never slander any of his prophets as to do so would be a major sin in my religion. However, if posting their words can be taken as slander, I'm guilty.
