I spoke with Jack Uselton this past week.

For a company which has only been in operation for a few weeks, they are aggressively pursuing a number of growth initiatives, both in the areas of acquisitions and in highly-qualified personnel.

He indicated that MTEI has several offers being proposed to them at this point and are meticulously evaluating each. They are studying fields and properties in a number of states and will act on the ones which promise the best return on their investment. Included in these properties are some which are already producing (read: immediate cash flow).

I believe there is much more going on than is being reported and we will begin to see a steady stream of announcements as MTEI's property evaluations are completed, beginning with the series of Stagg reports from the West Virginia properties. It is also my understanding that these evaluations are extremely time-consuming and, due to their inherent value to the decision-making process, must be completed at a high degree of accuracy. Patience!

The group going to Houston on the 13th should be able to provide additional details regarding the progress of Mountain Energy. I was satisfied with the answers I received from Jack and will continue to hold my shares long.
