Interactive Buyers Network International Ltd. Unveils the Total Web-based Commerce Solution
VENTURA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 24, 1998--Interactive Buyers Network International Ltd. (OTCBB:IBNL - news) Wednesday announced the unveiling of a new product to complement the company's Virtual SOURCE Network.
The new product is called Virtual SOURCE Publisher.
This Web-publishing product was developed by WPG.NET, the company that was recently acquired by IBNL. This product allows anyone to build a commerce-ready Web site. It includes a toolbox of value-added options including access to Virtual SOURCE Network. Using Virtual SOURCE Publisher requires no software. The company expects to introduce the product in July.

It includes a news release page and two examples of how the retailers The Home Depot and Big A Auto, plan to use this new commerce-ready publishing tool. All pages on the tour were made with the new publisher and were built by people with no Web programming background.

We now have solutions for our clients that are designed with flexibility to meet the demands of large and small operations,'' according to Robert 'Jay' McShirley, chief executive officer of IBNL.
IBNL operates the Virtual SOURCE Network, a proprietary software system designed to enhance business-to-business electronic commerce. Buyers use the Virtual SOURCE Network to obtain competitive bids in response to RFQs. Sellers use the Virtual SOURCE Network to enhance sales opportunities and provide product and pricing information to customers.
The system operates through modem or Internet access. Users of the system pay a nominal yearly subscription fee. Current subscribers include industry leaders such as Warner Bros., CBS Television City, B.F. Goodrich Technicolor, McDonald's California, Castle Metals and Georgia-Pacific.
