Hello All,
I just finished reading Mark Helprin's essay in the WSJ, as part of my July 4th- reconstitution. (Hope you all had a happy, but reflective 4th- we all should take a moment out to reflect on such things, large and small.)
While Helprin had some thoughtful points to make on the "big picture" it tended to help me focus on what we are about here with IMS.
Some might have believed over the past few months that we should give up the ghost. "Hey, this is just another penny stock scam, what's the big deal? It happens all the time with BB stocks- why spend your time and energy bitchin about your poor luck?"
As Helprin would put it, if your life is to mean anything friend you have to be willing to take a stand on principle from time to time. Does what happened with IMS apply here- you have to answer that yourself. And that's the point.
In my opinion, Neches and his long-time friend Hoevel have stolen your family's property. They have a lawyer willing to explain their actions through the court, work it like it was completely above board. Many have been convinced by them. Are you? If so, you have taken your lumps as another penny stock holder loser. That's what they hoped for. They are hoping the rest of us left will go away too, and soon! That way, there will be no resistance to their taking it all (I hope no one is left thinking that maybe some kindness will enter the picture with these people). And, if you thought there was really nothing worth "taking" you need to read the IPIQ press release again. Were IMS employees free to talk, I am sure they would confirm this now. They can't hide the truth any longer- why have they not voiced an opinion of late? I think we know the answer to that.
So, as we celebrate our freedom and independence this weekend, you might give a thought to what you have done lately to stand up for things that matter. Yes, we may not defeat this terrible theft of our personal property- bought with hard earned funds from our family's work and effort- saved for many years to buy into IMES. But rejecting our responsibilities to ourselves and our family to see justice through is much worse to me, I hope you feel that way too.
Should you agree, pass the word along, and call Tom Childs to enlist in our growing effort. Let me know if you need the number. Make it a point to stand with us all the way, for what is right, for principle.
