Hi, CGB, We have a new kitty my wife saved and he needs watching all the time to keep him from clawing me. Outside next week with him. Real reason for the post. Lots of posts about education here. I have seen several things on 60 Minutes about "retarded" people. Many of them have skills beyond the norm in certain areas. Question - Instead of trying to normalize these people shouldn't we be taking care of their needs and using their talents? I know of a girl who will be 8 years old mentally forever, her dad is a computer whiz and paid well. On the internet she makes him look dumb. She is being trained to live a "normal" life but for mankind and her life shouldn't we take care of her and let her mind roam? Her first time on the net she stacked enough jobs that it took 12 hours to download. She melded into a union with the box. There is some potential there that most don't have.
