Consider if some PC makers went the way of IMac. What if they didn't ship with a floppy? Since its been debated whether on not the 1.44 floppy is even useful, let the consumer decide ! A person buying a floppyless computer could shop for a 1.44 drive (uggh) or pick up a UBS Zip. The UBS doesn't even require a knob to tighten in the cable. Retail sales would explode. Removable storage would be the only choice, whatever format you bought... fred
