There are a lot posts about take over rumors concerning JNJ buying AVEI flying around over on the Yahoo thread again tonight. I would like to encourage everyone to pick up the phone or e mail AVE at the e mail address below and see what kind of answers you can get for yourselves. It's true that JNJ has announced that they are looking at making an acquisition in the cardiovascular healthcare area. Could it be AVEI? I doubt it. Since when is AVE for sale? I don't think they are. Why? Because AVEI has also announced that they are looking at 10 to 12 possible acquisition candidates. They are killing JNJ but they need to bundle their product just in case someone actually can produce a competitive stent. They also need to broaden their product line. Go to the source people. ASK AVEI! Are they interested in being acquired at any price? How many possible acquisitions would they really make on their own? Here is the phone number and an e mail address to the company.
