I notice there is a lot of talk about level II. There is one well known on line brokerage firm that offers level II quotes for about $ 79/mo which includes the $ 50/mo paid to NASDAQ. It seems like a pretty good deal compared to what a lot of other companies are charging. In addition, for trades of 1,000 shares or more with a minimum of $ 2 per share price, the commission is free.

I'm new to day trading and am trying to figure out the most cost effective way of executing trades of 1,000 shares or more. I'd appreciate someones input on this. Thanks.
