God, or in this case Jesus as part of the trinity, knows that only He can keep the commandments, so the "question" of this man being good was not the point

We never established that the Trinity existed. So before you can say that Jesus (Pbuh) is part of the trinity, please provide evidence from the Bible that the Trinity exists.
