TMSSequoia Releases Breakthrough in Forms Extraction Performance With FormFix(R) 2.7 and is Awarded Patent
STILLWATER, Okla., July 6 /PRNewswire/ -- TMSSequoia(TM) (OTC BB: TMSS) announced today the release of a new version of its powerful FormFix forms processing product. FormFix 2.7 is a sophisticated Windows and Unix-based forms processing developer toolkit that dramatically enhances the accuracy of OCR/ICR recognition of data in forms. The technological breakthroughs achieved in 2.7 are:

* A speedup of 41% for overall processing on easy forms and 100% on dense
forms.
* The forms extraction process is 100% to 500% faster!
* The ability to identify over 1,000 different types of forms in the same
set, introduced in 2.6, is now 30% faster in version 2.7.
* The Mark Sense recognition engine included is now 30% to 80% faster.
* FormFix 2.7 now will automatically detect and correct upside-down and
sideways scans with virtually 100% accuracy!
* On a modern Pentium II processor FormFix will now do Forms ID,
Registration, Data Extraction and Mark Sense recognition in about
.75 seconds on medium sized forms, and 1.9 seconds on a difficult dense
form like the HCFA. This is a major breakthrough for high volume
applications.

Dana Allen, general manager of TMSSequoia's Image Enhancement and Forms division commented, ''We are pleased and proud of the breakthroughs our development staff have created for FormFix 2.7, which will significantly increase the value of using the product for our customers.'' FormFix developer toolkits start at $3,750.00 and upgrades cost much less.
