Does anyone know where I can go to research companies that have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy? Specifically, I'm trying to get some info on Benefund (ticker BENF). They filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1997, but there's a wild internet rumor that a new owner is coming in and the stock will go to a dime a share.

I'm thinking that when paperwork is filled out for a bankruptcy, a phone number is listed for a point-of-contact. If so, I'd like to get that phone number and try to contact someone who knows something about Benefund.

Any help?

Thanks,
Chris
