How has this segment escaped the attention of Microsoft? They have their hands in every other Internet delivery application. Maybe they are just waiting for a big enough chunk to be assembled by one company before they gobble it up.

At the time of writing at least another 20 full transponders on current or near-to-launch satellites were earmarked for such traffic. We estimate that the size of the market for transponders for such traffic is doubling every five months.

Such a rate of increase will cause prices to increase, at what point is the expected need going to out-strip the on-hand transponder supply? (if this has not already happened) When will the transponder supply catch up? I dont mind the demand going up but I dont want to be swamped by the supply flood which will follow.

Thanks for any guessimates.
