Is it just my imagination or has nobody here actually read thru the material on that website to find out what they are bitching about??

They are NOT bitching about 300 MHz parts being sold as 266MHz parts etc. After all, where's the damages??

They ARE bitching about the BF ratio line being removed (but with the spec saying that it is there) thus preventing users from setting the speed to run the cpu. This is where the merit, if any, lies with this suit.

From their website:

Q: Why did we say Intel is deceiving its consumers?

A: Intel takes out the BF Ratio line (inside CPU) without giving consumers notice. Then, all the CPUs Intel sold contain manuals that stated they have BF Ratio. SO, THIS IS DECEITFUL. We don't care how much money we spend to buy the CPU but it must have BF Ratio.

Q: Why does Intel takeout the BF Ratio?

A: Because Intel uses the same DIE, the same FUNCTION, the same COST and the same SPEED of CPUs (see the issue before this), the only difference in these CPUs is the printing description of the speed and price. Intel doesn't like end-user to know about it, so they takeout the BF Ratio line and prohibit End-User to selected CPU speed. This causes Intel to control the CPU MARKET and PRICE.
