RSD- I would love to buy in the $80s again, but don't see it possible. I would like to see some reasoning for this level of pessimism, myself. Something is telling me on the next overall market dip, perhaps due to some earnings shortfall, I should complete my little buy. I like L.G.'s "reinvention" of IBM, and recent technological progress in getting from the lab to product in quick time, for a behemouth. I also like IBM's patent coverage of semiconductors and networking. These patents are potentially quite valuable. Trouble spots are in PCs and enterprise software, but I expect enterprise software to improve as the rubber hits the road for Microsoft. IBM looks good to me- I would like someone to make a reasoned counter-case. R.
