Bert,

Always good to find people of a like mind. I have been investing almost exclusively in private placements over the past few years. I'm a little more strict than the "going public in a year or two" that you stated - I look for 6 months or under. I've been caught in a few deals that had a certain time frame that was verbally communicated to me and and it inevitably just kept being pushed out farther and farther. I'm still in a couple of "good" companies (earlier investments) that I can't see the light (exit strategy) at the end of the tunnel yet. I now deal through groups that are under contract to provide the public vehicle contingent on the private placement being completed. I now have a handful of sources, but would be interested in finding more if you have any suggestions.
