Several things.
Jesus and his apostles may have called others demon possesssed as you say. Do you claim the same right and the same powers of supernatural observation?
Don't you think it may take more than disagreeing with you in a religious arguement to define someone as demon possessed?
AS far as defending some people and not otheres, I just call 'em as I see 'em. I have defended the views of Christianity and also been critical of them on this thread. I have argued against those who rail on others in an unfair way. I have disagrred many times with T. Bergh on this thread. I have had disagreements with Shalom.
AS far as the Markhoffs, I dont think they were wrong in arguing with you. I do think you were extremely mean in the fashion you dealt with them.
Emile, you are not a stupid man. I am sure you are aware by this point in your life, that your views and how you express them, can be very condescending, if not downright mean-spirited.
That said, if I saw someone taking a cheap shot at you, I would defend you. I disagree wholeheartedly with your point of view, but I would defend your right to express it, and my right to disagree with it.
